This is Gonk. He’s the one who shouts profanities at other drivers whilst I remain calm and professional

Occasionally he’s also been the best conversation.

Hanging from the rear view of my mirror

My old man used to have picture of all his kids on back wall his method was when away few weeks at a time and get to stage where think am getting fed up of been away weeks at a time keeps you focused for why your away all week to provide for them etc instead of getting up one morning and thinking bugger this for game of cards .

Some enjoy been away all week and some hate it suppose its what you have been around in your early years , personally ihate the am home every night routine yes sometimes nice but it gets on my ■■■■ same day in day out get up set time drive to work wondering what the night man has done to your truck and you can never put your own stamp on it plus some of the pigs with spilt coffee all over steering wheel ffs it happens but clean it up , wouldn’t keep your house a ■■■■ tip with nothing inside so why not make the space where you spend most of your life more homely

Each to their own life is way too short to grow up and be all sensible. I use to have a bear called Bob in a flat cap, he lives at home now, Berties ego couldn’t deal with two of them. I agree with many of the posters. One thing I’ve noticed about Bertie is how much he makes people smile, even the Douanes and UK Border Agency, people even take pictures of him. So you know what, its good, instead of seeing another annoying lorry they smile at it instead.

Tried to get Berties view but he said you can all ■■■■ off. He thinks forum users are Muppets.

Bertie has great perception.

How come Bertie gets all the good words that you can’t use Luke?

Come on, what’s really going on here?

The cart before the horse?

A little while ago I was driving down the A34 and I spotted you by the yellow blob in the corner, it actually made my day. I’m just easily pleased

Bertie has been in the Sun a few weeks ago, and in the back of the Tv guide, he gets around.!

He does stand out like a sore thumb. Loads of people say they only noticed it was me because they say him in the distance! He sure does like speaking his mind that’s for sure. I’ve had to tell him to cut back on the swearing, thinking of the children.

Anyway whats wrong with having teddys and such stuff, keeps me occupied by talking nonsense to them anyway
Ive got Mr Beaver (who does come in handy for making female security guards smile  )

and theres also the Loch Ness Monster but he;s rather shy :grimacing: :grimacing:

I have couple to keep me company, It’s an octopus with 3 legs,my little girl draw it for me and i nice lady at her school made it.

The Dutch drivers used to go all over Europe with household size coffee machines on the dash, you can still see Bull fighting spears in the UK now, local trucks on local work.
The 3 foot long chain on the running money wallet was a laugh, it had about 3 weeks of the bosses money in it for fuel and tolls.
Meercats are acceptable in the passenger window.

evedently you are jelous of a way of life for a lot of people whats it got to do with you lets here it were ye been etc tescos rdc poss coffee perculators were not only in dutch trucks and yes runing money was needed no cards those days and i never had a 3 foot chain  but used to spend weeks months even away so toys of kids wife etc were in the window ,anything to be more comfy is not bad , :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:
