hej oyly think from 1962 its a very early 112 sisu ,real produktion started early in 1963 and go on to 70 only a few hundreds was made ,its a early one becose the whipers is up,do not remember what saw and papermill runned the prototypes,as probably shown in those pics,mine is a bit newer,and thanks oily for great pic,s :smiley: :wink: ,cheers benkku

hey benkuu, Not much made of the 112 Sisu,bought you Finnish more Swedish, or quality troubles or overpriced.
The same here, more foreigners bought as belgians, Brossel and AEC Belgium bought by Leyland and killed off.
AutoMiesse built different parts together as British,poor network,there was no evolution,successors and closed down.

well eric ,i think it had more to do whit that cabovers were used mainly in international traffic ,domestic transports until 72 whit weigh rising did change the situation ,so the 112/117(4x2) sisu was before it,s time and whitout exportmarkets for it it became a rare one. bonneted sisus were made in 1000,s under the same time,cheers benkku

Hey benkuu, a bit the same here we loved the bonnets and only that changed after de mid '70โ€™s. but as Scania and Volvo sold very strong till the mid '80โ€™s. Also a bit due to fixed cabs in the '50 and '60โ€™s which gave poor access to the engine.

Hey, I find it a nice cab for the beginnings of the '60โ€™s and with a tilt cab. A bit a '50โ€™s look but better as the LB76,a real 50er only from '63.

hej eric ,think the design was whitout many fancy tings ,be couse they knew the production can,t be to high,and that gets us to the repleacing lorry ,that oyly whit kind give a example of :as i remember ,first rolling prototype 69 whit 265 leyland ,production since 70 then soon after 265 and 320 rolls was main motor (leyland option) middle of 70,s the new option โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ–  get more custumers and a355 370 โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ–  get main engine last was 400โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ–  the production of this modell was out in82 when SM/SR/SK SISU whit same kind of modular thinking that SCANIA introudused in 80 was on the line,cheers benkku

hey benkuu, that model here S-m,r,k looks a bit square like the 91 Steyr,but it looked spacy inside.
Once a German asked the finnsh driver, if he had built the cab by himself. I had to held my breath :neutral_face:
you know the Germans stand on comfort (the pullman cabs)

81/82 sisu lanced the SR SM and SK series and soon the SL ,this is SM powered vy many versions of โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ– โ–  uptil 530,this configuration and work for it is typical ,usually whit a drawbar behind :smiley: Cheers benkku
