Drawings from past to future

I can’t recall if I’ve posted this shot before, but never mind, this is a late 80’s shot of the two last 111’s we ran they were probably about 10 years old at this time and had worked hard in the long distance fleet giving 100% reliable service. We refurbished, re-painted, and lettered them and one went to our Rochdale depot as a shunter and the other did the same job out of the Milnthorpe depot,IMHO this model of Scania was and probably still is the finest tractor they produced.Cheers benkku,Dennis.

yep 1 series was the best, cheers benkku

OK bma.,how do you celabrate Mid-summer ? Do you put on the “Horned helmet” and sail the Longship over the gulf for a bit of Pillaging :sunglasses: Or,maybe you fire the BBQ up and throw a few Rudolph steaks and Sausages on and then get stuck into drinking many Lagers and Snaps/Aquivit.Now why do I think that my second suggestion will have been the one you enjoyed  Cheers Dennis.
