Nice drawing bma. of a Leyland Comet and loaded trailer, whats in the barrels ? Lager?.Anyway,no need to be frit of learning to sheet and rope, there are plenty of experts of the craft on this site who could teach you ( if we lived in another time!!) Anyway here is a shot of a load of Toilet tissue that I (personally) had loaded at the Mill in Barrow-in-Furness a couple of hours prior to me taking this shot in our depot in '76,it had completed the first 50kms of it’s journey and was stood waiting for the night driver to take it on another leg of its overnight trip to West Thurrock on the side of the Thames in Essex. We loaded anywhere from 2 to 6 similar loads every weekday, the trailers allocated to this particular contract had sheets “made to measure” for the job, when they were tipped at Thurrock the trailers were relaoded around the corner at Tilbury Docks with either American or Scandinavian woodpulp for our local Mill in in Milnthorpe near our depot.Cheers Bennku,Dennis.

But maybe would it beter to let the cobbler stick to his last   .
Here some pics, I did it sometimes here with a hired in F12,but my father did it for years here with a converted 495 shortened rigid and built on sleeper.
