you could contact the ministry .
BUT the employer still has your tachographs which will be examined and will end up with you reciving a letter from vosa if you have broken the laws.

Mat G:
My current problem is drivers mates getting funny with 45 min breaks, as all the other drivers drive on the rest setting. Last week, I did do the naughty and misused the rest mode, then later wasn’t on the ball, and clipped an overhanging roof!! OoopsGive me a solo run any day!!
If you are on break and driving you it will show as driving as almost all tacho’s are built with an automatic drive mode. If I were you I’d get some training on tacho regs and sort out your drvers mate. If you are drving for more than 4.5 hours you need a 45 minute break if your driver-mate has a problem with that so what, if he continues to give you hassle then take it to your employer its their operators licence at steak as well as your licence or even freedom.
pup cant say as i blame you.
i did 3 months tipping bulk agri for a small firm and it was always push push push, it got to the point where i turned the in cab mobile off and wouldnt answer my own when the gaffer called that one, wouldnt have minded but nights away in an fl10 isnt much fun when your 6ft tall
but i do know of tipping and bulk companys who do play fair and by the rules so it seems we just found a couple of shisters to work for
have fun on agy you will get loads of experiance i loved doing it when i lived back in the uk
best of luck
