If the boss asks you to do some extra hours then of course you should be paid… Who would be so silly as to work for free…
OK, here’s an example of just that.
My mate works for a well known walking floor co. that gets paid a salary mon to fri, plus a percentage of the truck earnings (yeh right! 
, as the earnings are never disclosed to them and they are virtually on the same amount each week, but they believe it anyway 
) if they run in on a Sat morning they get no extra for it…ok, fair enough you may say as it’s a salary, but some of these idiots run down on a Sunday for NO extra pay, and do anything from a half shift to a full one so that they…wait for it…“Can be first in the queue to tip or load” 
, then we wonder why the wages in general are ■■■■ poor I bet their boss is laughing his bits off at them
