Was thinking today (one of those minutes when you drift off into obscurity) that surely in this day and age that any new bridges that are constructed must be HGV friendly…aren’t they■■?They could always build a new low bridge with a hydraulic hoist
built into the road, then if a wagon did hit the bridge they could
lower the hoist and simply let the wagon drive out.

Diesel what a great invention but before you go on Dragons Den with you idea, for on 35% of you company, may I suggest you fit a sensor that raises the bridge before an oversized truck hits it !!
