It’s a fix .theres a Foden like that in the scrap yard at sandbach it came from a north Wales cement plant ,the lorry was something like the first 4000 series or something like that .

That’s how I like em’ I’ve driven in the yard on Saturday morning looking like that and driven
out again on Sunday or Monday shining like a new pin there must have been truckwash fairy
because I was never into vehicle washing I was a driver not a valet Oh’ and I did make this
clear to any prospective gaffers when they advertised for drivers there was loads of driving
jobs in my era so if they didn’t like it they could lump it so long as you could see through all
the glass and the mirrors Oh’ and the inside of the shed was clean that did for me.

Man after my own heart! I was infamous for always having the dirtiest lorry. My only stipulation was that the glasswork be kept clean, so whenever I ever I parked up I always wiped the windscreen, side windows and lamp lenses. Apart from that, I LIKED a dirty lorry!
