I get why some drivers like their (bosses) motors to look nice and tidy and will happily pass some free time polishing tanks and wheels and whotnot, I also get the flipside view of “It’s a work tool I pressure wash it once a week/fortnight whatever and that’s plenty enough for something I don’t own”
What I don’t get though is the attitude of one sides view of the other, some people appear (from their posts) to get bent right out of shape because someone enjoys rubbing durabrite on to a metal part, if that’s what they want to do just let them get on with it, does it affect you if someone want’s to spend his own time and money making his work vehicle shiny, is it hurting anyone physically or financially ?
I’m not the type to spend countless hours polishing tanks and wheels, I like a clean motor and I’d wash it once a week (usually) with a pressure washer and brush, and I’ll admit I’m pretty OCD when it comes to the interior cleanliness (I like the interior to look showroom condition with no clutter and clean surfaces and floors), but I can’t deny that some wagons look smart and I can appreciate the effort the driver put in to get it looking that way.

No but neither is other sad pastimes like train/Eddie spotting, morris dancing, or anything else in the same category of tank polishing, but they all attract ■■■■ taking, that is a fact.
Apologies to all you guys with the shiny tanks, but I aint done too bad, it’s been months since I had a friendly pop. …and I’m no stranger to being on the other end of it all, being a Newcastle Utd fan.
To o/p buy yourself a new tin of Mr Sheen, nobody has died.
