digi card unit

Jesus iv been took on with a local firm delivering car parts through the night went out on the assesment today saw the brand new scania parked up jumped in thats when things started playing me up. Card wouldnt register in machine after a sharp wack it played ball but what fiddly card draw it had it opens 1/4" if that then slide your card in and shut door. Never seen this type before and cant say i like it either

It’s a Stoneridge tachograph, and they don’t like being “wacked” :frowning: :wink:

If your card fails in the tachograph, as often as not a wipe with a clean cloth will do the trick, sometimes even though it looks clean the memory chip gets a bit dirty and the tachograph can’t read it.

Most tacho cards get rejected on it’s first ever insert. (Don’t know why) just reinsert it and it will work.

As its new, the head may not have ben “locked in” with the company card yet
