Well I was driving for almost 15 years before it became illegal and managed to have phone conversations and drive without even having a near miss, never mind an accident and there are plenty of other people who also can.

Although ive never really been one for using my phone while driving theres plenty of experienced drivers who have done this for years without problem. I multi task while driving and im 100% safe doing so and so are very many ohers. As you say its the idiots who dont have it in them to do so that get evryone tarred with the same brush…

Saving time is what its about, i dont want to start peeling the spuds at the start of a 45 when they could already be done and blanched while going over the Pyrenees. As for serious accidents, never had one ‘pal’ and just know ill never have one…at least one thats my fault anyway…

To help you out, as I think you need it. The only way the fuzz are going to apprehend the killer in waiting, is by getting up to date info about the offenders location. So you’re going to have to stay with the perpetrator and guide the coppers to the mass murdering criminal.

Agree about a distraction being a distraction but other than the phone the ones you mention have been happening since cars were invented and even when phones first came don’t think there was to much of a problem with people talking on them the problem is the ones who can’t go more than 5 minutes without looking at facebook etc in case their world is about to fall apart and those insecure imbeciles will never put the phone down

Its a reasonable assumption that when you say people should be shopped and nicked then it implies you will do it. If youre not going to do it then what is the point of ranting and raving about it needing to happen? You want it done but want someone else to do it instead?

Getting ■■■■■■ off about idiots doing it with no regard for the consequences to innocent people and ranting and raving at anyone who tried to justify it and getting all worked up that it was still going on and then I heard a phrase on a TV show that made sense

Its good advice and something you should think about. If you want to try and police the entire country on your own, be my guest. You wont hear any condemnation for me for reporting every offence you see that has the potential to end badly, I just think your wasting your time because firstly as others have pointed out the offender will be off into the sunset before youve even dialled and secondly the chances are the person doing it is perfectly safe and able to multi task, or at least will manage to get away with it and not hurt anyone. If you want to assume they are the incapable ones and wish to get a hard on phoning the cops then be my guest. Eventually you will probably have stopped a death or at least an accident somewhere along the line but if youre NOT going to be phoning then stop prattling on about it eh.

Ive never had an on road accident never mind injured or killed anyone and dont intend to as i know what im capable of and how far i can push myself with absolutely zero risk to any other road user.
