(see what I did there ?)
At least they attempted to De-Ice it, (even if it was with a Hammer) in England most people make a ‘Spy Hole’ just enough to see through. ![]()
I would love to see how he plans on repairing the dent he put in the boot lid ![]()
it might have been easier not to pour water all over the car and then throwing snow on top of it in the first place…
The car was scrap, the hammer was rubber…

Do not think he did it British way ( kettle of boiling water - seen it hundreds of times ) more probably the temperature went over the frost level and that snow on the car melted as it started to freeze. You have no idea of this kind of weather as we don’t have it here.
well I do know where nowy sacz is as we spent three days in a very nice spa there last summer. the thing is, I drove almost 1500km south to get there from my house ![]()
you never see that kind of buildup on a car occur naturally, not even in hammerfest.

that there is natural of course, not something thrown together for youtube popularity ![]()
Best way I’ve found to de-ice a windscreen -
Pour cold water (from your tap, so it’s still above 0 degrees) all over the windscreen, this will melt the ice and frost without cracking your windscreen.
After a few seconds when you’ve got rid of most of that, quickly throw a towel over the windscreen and dry it off so the water you just poured on won’t refreeze.
It means washing a towel but if you’re in a hurry it works wonders ![]()
I use the above method (cold water not hammer) but as i add vinegar to the water which stops it refreezing.
I don’t towel dry the windscreen though as the vinegar helps to clean the windscreen

I will leave it with no comment ![]()
Hes using one of them new self heating hammers melts the ice on contact. hehe
If i found my car that iced up in the morning it would be straight back under the covers and warm my feet up on the Mrs.
Its ok i can handle the black eye she will give me hehe ![]()
I always use hot water and never cracked a windscreen yet.
