DCPC

I asked this question of the DSA because I was informed (now wrongly) that an operators CPC qualifies for full DCPC, this is the answer, our ref: 1201/00323

Dear Mr Duff

Thank you for your email of 6 January about the Operator’s CPC.

I note your comments, however individuals acquire the Operator’s CPC by running and managing a fleet. This is not the same as Driver CPC. Those who wish to drive professionally must have Driver CPC.

As the operator’s course is not part of Driver CPC it is not an official training course and therefore, does not count towards an individual’s Driver CPC periodic training.

Yours sincerely

Mr Brian Cater
