Whoever owns and runs the TNUK platform has certainly done a “number” on the relaunch ! I reckon they rank with this new Labour Government of how to shoot yourself in both feet ! Buzzer should be given an award for perseverance as all the other “mainstays” of the previous site have thrown the towel in and left it to CF to carry on spouting his rubbish ! Question ---- is CF on some sort of retainer ££££ ?

And who are these mythical mainstays that you are so dismissive of?
Obviously non of us now.

Wake up David, you know exactly what Dennis is on about and for some time now I have complained about this new model of TNUK. If you just look at the time delay between comments it is blindly obviously not working like it did under the old system. As for you one who has worked for more outfits than you could shake a mucky stick at you always have summit to say on what ever subject is posted which nowadays is not much as a lot of previous posters now just cannot be arsed. For all your participation on here you never post actual pictures, you of all people need to wake up and smell the coffee as your life revolves around daily viewing of these threads and there is just not the banter and craic there was once mainly from the deserters. Despite me complaining on numerous occasions it falls on deaf ears of the ones at the top and doubt much will change and with out dedicated posters as myself the whole thing would just grind to a halt so think on or you may lose your daily entertainment, Buzzer

Evening Buzzer

We’re still here looking in but my bloody laptop no longer recognises my I phone, so I cannot upload my photos to the computer which makes it a right ball ache posting on here.
I am parked up tonight in Chieveley services, Dorchester bound in the morning so I am posting off mi phone.

Busy as ever up ere TB testing today and tomorrow so they will be to read on Thurs/Fri so fingers crossed for a clear test. Had a good day last Friday as we had an 11 month old bull which made £2250 so that was a good do.
The work front is still reasonably busy but no doubt it will start to slow down as we approach Christmas, roll on the new year and the nights drawing out again…

Cheers Wrighty.

loaded up at Craven Arms.

Been on the maize near Nottingham now back home to Scotland.
We get a nice day now and then.
A bit of overhang…

Hey up Wrighty your pics came out good and seems you been quite busy, soon be Xmas and some time out or though I suspect Alice will have summit for you to be going on with, good result with you bull calf but any good well fed store cattle in market of late makes all the brass thats for sure, my 23 inside now for winter but we are in the Blue tongue zone so a bit restricted as for sales, we just keep em well fed and there out of the wet but forecast especially for your end is snow and we dont really want that as it just makes working outside harder. The boys are still busy with the trucks but think the drivers are looking forward to the xmas break now summit I dont like as it gets dragged out for far too long. The country is in a sad state of affairs and is only going one way and that is down, best stop there else me blood pressure will start to rise, there is a petition with over 2 thousand signatures to get rid of Starmer and his cronies before he creates a 122 billion black hole and the way they are going it wont be long, cheers Buzzer

Feeding time in the lean too.

Are those the sort of pictures you think I should be posting? :astonished:
And here’s me thinking it was a forum about lorries. Mind you, fair enough, some cows do travel on lorries, but come to think of it, so do cornflakes.

Now where’s me camera and box of Kelloggs:

Spardo replying to your last entry on this site you must be aware that at your age your comment was “of the lowest form of wit” category, you have been following this site long enough to know that it has always been a mix of transport and farming which most that view appreciate, we did have another case a few years back of a complaint and it was pointed out to the chap at the time that if you do not like the content dont bother logging in. This goes back to the same problem that since this new version of TNUK was invented there are far less posters which is a great shame so best not to knock the ones who still bother, you are beginning to sound a bit like Dennis (Bewicks) mate from Leathhead, the one and only Carryfast, Buzzer.

“Still a farmer by rights”

I’m with you John, nowt wrong with Christmas but does it have to start in November.
Parked up near Church Stretton tonight tipping Bishops Castle in the morning then back over to Stafford to load for up north…

Cheers Wrighty.

Not a fan of short days.

Hi buzzer, wrighty keep the farming coming some of us still enjoy the mix. Gerbil

Just noticed the picture you put on of Chip in Portsmouth is dates 3rd Feb. Strange this site. Gerbil

Sorry 7th. Gerbil

Think that date is the date this thread opened.

Dont anyone think the drivers at DIT just pilot the trucks, they had an excursion to Tesco’s this morning for rations and then got to work in the kitchen. Pretty good results from what I can see so sitting down now at Tracy Island getting stuck in, wonder whats for afters, think you may need greedy boards on them plates though, Buzzer

Had one of these Massey 701 balers back in the day with Armstrong Sydaley 2 cylinder diesel engine, it weighed 3 ton but made bales like little bricks and also pulled by a Fordson Major, Buzzer

Well thankfully we had a clear TB test so that’s it for another four years.
Don’t miss little bales of hay although if we get a chance we do make a few, but for us round bales are easier to handle…

Cheers Wrighty.

Room for a bit more…:flushed:
