Looks like there will be no more Skinny Dipping or Wild water swimming for The Buzzer in Poole harbour for a while !

Dennis don’t you go worrying about me, I have had an insulated wet suit made out of an old tilt sheet, save the planet and all that, fully protected no worries, Buzzer.

Evening Buzzer

Yes we have had a busy couple of weeks up ere, lambing has gone quite well apart from the bloody weather. We haven’t had a dry day for what feels like weeks now, everywhere is still a bog and the lambs have had no where dry to lay. Today has been better with some nice warm sunshine and it’s supposed to be alright until Wednesday so we will see. Had a busy day today in the calving shed, got the vet this morning to do a caesarean and the result was a big bull calf went back in later to check on her and she had put the calf bed out. We managed to get it back in but had to get the vet back to put some stitches in to hold it in, whilst in the shed we spotted another starting to calve so we got the vet to have a feel in before he left and hey presto that one was coming backwards so we let him calve that as well, a nice little heifer so all in all it’s been a busy day.

Back to the day job tomorrow, off down to Milton Keynes with concrete then we will see.

Cheers Wrighty.
