A surprise visitor in the yard today when i visited Andy Smith was there and he still does the odd days driving for Davies even though he’s busy with his Private Hire buisness, just likes to keep his hand in .You have a job to see him but he is there in the shade honest.
Hi Buzzer Andy Smith■■? He got a Private Hire business ■■ I don’t think I know him where’s his PH business ■■
What kind of vehicles he got John? Always on the lookout!!
Regards Jim
Hi Jim you ask what Andy Smith done well i think he worked for Scattercash at some stage cos he deffo pulled ASR trailers, his PH buisnes is one vehicle top “o” the line range rover black with darkened windows to the rear. Will send you a PM mate.
What were you doing in the cruise terminal Gary? If the number had been CJ 1 it would have been mine. Looks good on the old Morris Minor! Regards Charlie
Horry:
No shoes on of course Fergie. Had me socks on though! (No Sandals)
Well young Horry, in that case it is a lesser crime against the dashboard, and therefore a lesser punishment, I wouldn’t have kicked you out in Italy, I’d have waited till the Blanc Tunnel…
Maybe Mappo might have come along and felt sorry for you…on the other hand …
Doing all right J.D…built myself an Ark in my spare time, with all this rain we’ve been having though I might be on a winner. could float down to Italy and back, and earn a few bob in the process…
I see you’re using horse power a lot these days, thinking on the same lines eh, when the fuel runs out. you and me will be OK…
Other than that…plodding on as usual, tough this retirement business…
Nice to see on the site the young’uns and some of the old’uns still working hard…so they can keep us pensioners going…

Hi Jimbo we had a bit of trouble with the camshaft in one our motors and as we were loaded Volvo had to find us a replacement motor till ours was fixed.Horry hates the newer FH’s as they always given us grief, not as good as the first FH’s we had, shame cos other than that there good.Subbies, no no no but well spotted there are Jim.

Hi fergie Yes it is good that some are still workin to keep us oldun’s goin, i just wondered if you need any pairings to go in your ark i know Mappo would like to come but who the hell you could put him with i cant imagine, any way we can work on that. I do quite a bit with horses as you can see but they generally do what there told and dont answer you back which is more that can be said for some of the past staff i employed. Cant imagine how long it would take toget to Milan with horses but quite fancy the idea.Well we are into July tomorrow and aint made my haylage yet cos of the weather just need a break for four or five days to get that out the way, speak soon John.PS Just had a thought for a partner for Mappo, how about Vivien Westwood at least they wont look out of place together and a similar age.

1Heres a couple pics , Hori says it is the Tankerville bridge, bin over that a few times as have we all.
Evening all, Buzzer, Ive traversed that dear old bridge so many times to and from Le Havre, and my favourite clients Tpts Onatra had their Normandy Depot close by, (my record stay in their offices being 18hours, and on departure, well, I expect that I should have had a Hazchem label attached)!! Great people, I still go to the reunions, but were all getting older now!!
Weve been cutting for Haylage today, but the B… rain has come down, so Ive taken solace in the Bollinger. Cheerio for now.
Hey Qwozz junior you better go and check out your old man, last thing he said he was goin to lie down in a darkened room he may need resusitating by now and dont worry about that trailer Pulleyn’s are the same class act as Davies so we are compatable and therefore can work with each other, regards Buzzer.
