Bet old Wrighty got a job to remember what he did last week let alone some time in September Oily if he’s anything like me, I have to write a list now when I go out shopping else I always come home minus summit I wanted, anyways the more pictures on here the better Trucks Farming and Geneneral. Some call this thread “Country Life” others the “Archers” but the mix seems to be popular with the mix of subjects.

Apologies for butting in Buzzer, this one for wrighty, M6 south of Gailey, 11.37am 8th Sept. might have been the man himself

Evening Buzzer
Oily not guilty m’lud at the time we were relaxing in Cyprus, but like you say Buzzer remembering what we did last week can be difficult.
Quiet day today just feeding up and then a nice roast beef dinner, busy day tomorrow worming and fluking the cows and calves and then back to work on Tuesday.
Appologies to some of the readers of this thread if some of our farming terms seem double dutch, Fluke are a parasite that affect the liver in sheep and cattle preventing them from thriving…
Cheers Wrighty.

Best watch Country File on now if you want to know about worms in sheep, just saying Buzzer.
Just found these pictures of the dealers trucks where I bought my new tractor, both driven by two of the four brothers in the firm, Buzzer.
Dennis found this picture on FB but was not sure you ever did Middle East, was it yours and is that you in the shot, cheers Buzzer.
A farming related piece of FB but with that hanging over the tail board it’s a wonder it don’t tip up backwards, Buzzer.

I love this show and I watch it every day but don’t feel the need to comment very often, is that wrong?
Glad you like it ERF MAN as they say variety is the spice of life, always summit different on ere. One thing that concerns me is that did have an advance weather warner living on the West coast of Ireland going by the prefix of " Baldric " and we have not had a peep out of him lately perhaps its cozz he has sent us all this stormy weather and feels guilty, let us know your ok Balders.
Got a diabetic eye test tomorrow where they photo your eyeballs then you cant see straight for half an hour, this is probably the last for me as I am now deemed non diabetic, cheers Buzzer.

Reckon Wrighty you ought to have some distinguishing mark on your truck so we know when its you, like say a lit up model cow on the wing mirror like the Michelin men that used to be. Don’t expect your boss would allow that anyways and personally I never liked tat affixed to any of my trucks just cheapens the image and that’s what its all about, nothing worse than looking like a cowboy outfit eh.
Must apologise for you not having to put your overcoat on when you venture South of the equator which runs through the centre of Birmingham, guess that’s why we always get a head start with the grass in’t spring.
Had me CT scan on me shoulder today in the tube thingy, they lay you down and feed you in like at the crematorium only you aint in a box bit scary if you are claustrophobic I can tell you, but before loading she asked what music I liked to which I replied well i’ll only be in there a couple of minute’s wont I to which she said about 30 to 40 and you have to remain still all that time and that’s when you get an itchy nose and you cant do ought.
Ear muffs on and stop squeezer in’t tuther hand and away you go, sounds like the Queen Elizabethh setting sail with foghorn blasting then like a ginormus road drill in action, what an experience any ways we will await results in due course, cheers for now Buzzer.
Evening Buzzer
We are not allowed to put any tat on the units so they pretty much all look identical, the only distinguishing feature on mine is those poxy airtabs which supposedly save fuel but they save so much we only have them fitted to two units and haven’t bothered with anymore.
Back up near Nortwich tonight loading for North Wales in the morning, then down to our yard at Endon for a Droitwich which will be fun on a Friday. Hopefully it will be good news on the shoulder, it’s amazing what they can do with technology nowadays, whens the new tractor arriving…?
DISPATCHER I left Hanworth about 13.15 and then straight up the 40 so we probably did pass somewhere, who are you on for.?
Cheers Wrighty.
Hi Wrighty sent pm
Wrighty bit of a delay on the tractor as I have told them to hang on to it so they can fit a new loader on her which probably means after Christmas, the loader frame they can get straight away but the brackets about four weeks and they close for two over the festering period.
Cant wait but sometimes you have too.
DISPATCHER. Chris cut this out of the ECHO tonight and think I see Hill & Sons on the top at the front of the tram, am I seeing things or is this summit to do with your past history, interested to know cheers Buzzer.
Hi John bit before my time I like it but I dont think so
