Typical man of the bar getting his facts wrong, I worked for Noyce Bros of West Tytherly so close Richard and the picture was in 1975, good god that’s 40 years ago, frightening aint it, Buzzer.

Getting ready for the New Forest Show, horses got shod on Friday had there manes pulled on Sunday, carriage cleaned also all the harness which took me and my Lady wife eight hours to complete. Drive them out tomorrow to get a bit of steam out of them, then scrub there white legs with Jennychem truckwash (gets the crap out) then shampoo the rest (enlisted a couple of scrubbers for the job). Sheet them up then plait there manes and fit there snoods. Load up the carriage and an early start Thursday to the show.
Some times I think I should out the horses and get my self an Austin Healy 3000, cheers Buzzer.

Well Good Luck JD.
I might just briefly hijack your farming theme in your absence.
A rare glimpse of sun here today and the farmer is making the most of it.
I took these two shots from my kitchen window and got to wondering…
16 bales of silage all baled and wrapped in no more than half an hour.
How long would that have taken back in the day before mechanisation?
Although I think then it was all just piled up and not wrapped?

Answers on a postcard please.

Hmmmmm.
You might have to stand on yer 'ead.
Am sure some kind soul will put them right for me…

Well a busy day at the New Forest show yesterday, we did not do great but we had a load of fun doing it. Don’t think any one round that ring realizes just how much time and effort it takes to turn out a team of horses but we had four very excited guests who enjoyed the day with us. With out the help of numerous friends we would not be able to do this, here are a few pictures of the event, Buzzer.

Looks like a very enjoyable time you’re having their Mr Davies, what a lovely hobby to have you enjoy it you worked hard enough for it.

Very impressive Buzzer, the effort and hard work certainly shows…

Cheers Wrighty.
