Patras lined up for ferry back to Ancona
Andrew might I say its feast and famine with you, not that any one is complaining please keep up 2 speed Buzzer.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the photo’s brilliant,I still can’t believe you get paid as well !!
Seeing the pic of Ancona reminds me of dragging back 25 ton of Windscreens in a Kangaroo trailer with my little Maggie Deutz 232
The job looks a bit better now
Is that chap still about who used to smoke roll ups to the very end,he drove a Volvo and pulled SCAC trailers in the 70’s,his name was John something ? He’d be proud to see the fleet now !!
Keep the pics coming
Regards
Richard

Richard it is unbelievable the kit these boys have to do the job today, trouble is not many want to do it anymore.
The rollups came to a final end about six years ago when I had my gut bypass, completed on time by Kier construction in record time and I aint touched a ■■■ since. The old SCAC job was a gooden in the day all go but we got paid on time. By the way don’t think Mappo or Charlie would be up for a job now, they have both had it too easy for too long in an arm chair so just humour them and they will go away, cheers JD.
Horry:
Happy New year all.As promised to me, a pic in Finland between Xmas and New Year.
If your were still here Mr Farrow, I would have offered you the CMR 1st
And I would have taken it without hesitation, Horry.
Cheers
Neilf
Good set of ‘on the job’ pics of the white and blues, remember them well shipping out of Southampton on the Stena Normandy during my time with Stena Distribution, we had the pleasure of delivering to the QE2 but only to Southampton or very occasionally Cherbourge so not quite the same distance involved as Buzzers crew, we did the deliveries on a regular basis to most ports and Royal Navy bases from Stranraer to Falmouth so familular with the type of work if not the distance.
Balders I see you are on the old interweb right now, how you doing ? you have not been posting lately , have you moved house ? cheers Buzzer.
Hi john and all you other old boys out there just found out how to work the computer , thought you might like to see this old girl that did me well for a few years after you finished with her. Nice to see you all keeping in touch. cliff
Hi Cliff, good to see you on here mate.
Dunno if you remember little ole me Tony Mapson, I saw you at
the ’ Portuguese ’ do at the Roundhouse a few years ago…prior
to that was probably about 20 or more years ago.
You still got the restaurant, ■■? Never been but might surprise you one day.
