Parked at restaurant,Nantua en route to Venice
Credit where credit is due, by far the smartest fleet that I have ever seen, by a long way… Well done to JD and the boys… Looking forwards to seeing the “skodas”, but have always had a soft spot for the “FH’s”… Regards to All.

Mr Papa Smurf! Hope you are well. Yes looking forward to them coming, not long now. Doubt they will ever reach the dizzy heights of the 3 series, especially if they had a horse with wings on them. Those wings got you from Poole to Gib in one sitting, didn’t they??!!

that’s a great pic in front of the Liver building, my home town!
Hi John,
since the new, (Bulgarian…or anywhere that is cheap)■■ knee. and the attendant problems…lack of articulation being one…well today Ive been on Jam making…Apple and Damson, Sloe and Apple, and yesterday Damson Chutney…yes we have a few Damson Trees in the Orchard!
Tommorow I have promised myself that I will fell some Alders around the lake…but "her indoors "has other ideas…is this getting old?
How are your new cattle getting on? We have nearly finished seeding, and are well on with the Potatoes, (better than last year). Drives me mad not being on the “front line”, keep bouncing across the fields in one of the little Suzukis, (amazing how much stick they take), to check how they are doing… but everyone is forbidden to let me into a tractor! Driving me mad it is…
But I`ve just put the Hedge Cutter on the Valtra…so an early start tommorow…face the B…g later!
Must have a Bollinger to reinforce my strength,
Envy you your driving, really nice team, enjoy them!
Good luck, Cheerio for now.
My old 1984 Daihatsu Fourtrack 2.8TD doing its stuff on a 45 deg slope. It’s a bit hairy sideways on when the tyres are a bit bald and about 750Kg of logs inside loaded to the roof!
Sits doing nothing other than storage for 9 months, one pre-heat and it starts in seconds with no smoke!
Horry,
Those wings got you from Poole to Gib in one sitting, didn’t they…
Have to say,“allegedly” shag,lol.
Was good training for what followed it - green ‘n’ white .
Hope that all is well your end . Looks like the “Family” has grown / increased somewhat …
Watching with interest in deepest Dorrrset ,lol…
Hi Buzzer the jam looks really good I can taste it from ere !!

Andrew, fancy tipping onto such a little boat…I thought the only real boats in Liverpool were the ,(slow), “Fastcrafts”, of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company!!!
Find your diaries very pleasant reading/looking…thanks.
Cheerio for now.
This just tickled my sense of humour!
Hi Buzzer/ Horry I went to visit Jim Street this morning with the intention of coming out to Tracey Island but when I came out of Jim’s place there was an almighty traffic que your way so I gave it a miss !! Will pop over soon
R Jimmer
If only you’d made it Jimmer, could have had a sneak peek today! Hope Jim Street is well. Great model for Jeremy there. Tell him he cannot drop the trailer on double yellows in Anderson’s road and take the unit home!
Buzzer:
1Well Jimmer it was a wet day and as promised I thought I better get on with the jam production so here’s a couple of pictures so you can see what I have been doing cheers JD.

Blimey!! steady on chaps… Get a grip! you’ll have Dennis on here any time now, goin’ on about “southern softies,” “proper beer up north” & all that c**p!!
You’ll have me thinking it’d be a good idea to post a picture of my bread pudding I made yesterday!
In anticipation of the new arrivals, and acknowledging the units will be in demand to go straight on the road to service contracts.
Would Andrew be given time to take some pictures of all the Scanias lined up ? might be the only time they are all together, although are they arriving in two batches ?
Same style of livery as the FH planned to match the trailers ? Or something new…

First one in Scania’s workshop going through PDI, not striped yet but I have seen the CGI of the layout and looks good. I am sure as soon as Andrew gets the chance he will be snapping away but as you say they are going to work straight away and they are coming from now to Christmas so that will be his first chance to get a group picture, will be a mixture till then so you will have to be patient. cheers Buzzer.
Im asking around if anyone wants to buy me one of your FH’s to pilot!
(and i cant wait to see how the Scanias turn out)
