While out on my travels to West Wellow today I came across this rather tidy ERF and low loader collecting a 1927 Leyland tiger charabanc which had been dry stored all these years. It was being transported to Devon for restoration to go in a museum, it amazes me these things still are to be found tucked away in barns after which I made my way to Nursling for a cup of tea with Pat all in all a good day cheers Buzzer.

It was good to see you today I am glad i was back in time.

Hi John,
Could you please send your West Wellow permit to me, as I have reason to believe you did not stop at the customs for the red Cluses stamp !!, or you can slip 10,000 lira between the top sheet and the backer
Was the old bus at Ray Coates ?
Hope you and The Boss are ok.
Regards Richard

Hi Richard as there was no one in attendance in the booth at the border at Black Hill I could not get my BERP book stamped, the old coach was in Scallows Lane not at Ray Coates yard, it was in an old barn for years. cheers JD.
NB if you were wondering what a BERP book is it stands for Bursledon Excuse Road Permit which entitles the holder to go anywhere they wish.
