David Wilson - General Carriers LTD & Roxsett Trucking

I wish you hadn’t he used to tease me and lift the wheel when I was in back haha

He loved his bikes. Obviously jail happened and things had to be sold.

When he got out he brought a brand new purpose built burger van lol then a cafe.

Then Hugo the motorhome it was like his 4 child haha

That’s fantastic. We unfortunately lost touch in the mid to late 2000’s when I moved away from Stockton. Which is obviously something I regret now. I liked Dave and should have made more of an effort, but t’was ever thus with busy lives etc.

Well technically he moved away too haha to gated community lol

What’s your name I might remember you? What colour bike did you have lol

Did you know him before he moved to wynyard?

My name is Ash. I had a black and red Suzuki GSXR1100. I didn’t know Dave until he was living at Wynyard.

Hi Hayley, I used to drive for Roxsett, what a shame to hear about David, he was a cool guy. I always remember coming back through Dover shortly (hours) after his run in with customs and his unusual load. I was in one of Roxsett’s Magnums so I got very special treatment, I only found out later what happened. I really liked him, loved his bikes like I do, and he was a good boss, I went on to Trans Am afterwards but Roxsett was a more fun company. What happened to Nasty ■■■■■■■■ Chip shop Tut-tut and the other drivers? Was it Lucky that used to carry the Ford Fiesta in the back of the trailer down to Silvertown? Fond fond memories, Sean. PS just remembered the industry joke “How many “E”s in Roxsett

Hiii,

That’s made my day reading that.

I remember nasty but not sure what happened to him. Chip shop is still a good family friend and has his chip shop in stokesley. Lucky sadly passed away a few years back due to a horrible battle with cancer.

we still got dads roxsett business cards and hoodies. Those were the days! Yeh that trip into wasn’t the best especially as I was there lol but I learnt a valuable lesson that day don’t get caught haha
