The way he pulled in front of you and immediately brake tested you and the fact you say he was right up your chuff all along the single carriageway makes me think you might have brake tested him first because you thought he was too close.
Just one of those things it’s sometimes better to shrug off or you’ll end up working yourself up so much you’ll end up having an accident elsewhere.
I wonder if the gas driver has footage of the op ?
the idiot with the gas bottles has got the wrong temperament for the job,why should the driver in front risk points on his licence if he’s happy driving the speed limit (or close but that’s his risk) for a rev head driving a very dangerous load.

can i also add the guy was waving a hammer out the window. Thats why in the end I managed to get in front as I was worried he would stop & maybe smash me or the truck up. All i did was stay about 40mph all the way there isnt any overtaking points & if there was he could of got passed easily as I was in no rush. I was doing 40 on the singles & 50 on duel & did not speed up at any point. I shouldnt have given the mouth back but the near miss got my adrenaline going.

Forgive me if i’m wrong , but at about 20 secs did you swerve over to the right a tad as he was overtaking ?

When your in a situation like that you say things / act different to when your sat back later watching it as you say adrenaline takes over.

any driver worth his salt would of seen the road was wet and held back a good distance at the speed limit,quicker this propane nugget gets banned the better for everyone.

Fact of the matter is, any driver that feels the need to brake test another just because he values his license is totally of the wrong temperament to be driving a truck, he’s a bloody time bomb.

Do you know why you’re body produces adrenaline?
It’s to fuel your fight or flight mechanism. An instant boost of energy that some people are addicted to.
You chose to fight, IMO you’re just as bad as the Morgan driver. You allowed the adrenaline rush to take over your thinking.
If a truck full of propane engages you in roadrage, either back right off or even stop !
I am astounded that the driver of the gas truck took such actions and would refer him to an external agency (DVLA) if I was his counsellor and he had told me he had done this!
Not only is he showing disregard for his own life, but seems quite prepared to disregard others, therefore he is also a danger to himself…I am pretty sure that his licence would be revoked and he may even risk a sectioning for 72 hours under rule 36…His mental state is not adequate for the degree of responsibility required to execute his duties safely.
He needs to be off the road now.
