Daf XF and a CB.....?

Hi guys.

I’ve just moved into an '07 XF 105 and I’m wanting to fit the good old Midland CB.

Now I do belive that the coax is behind the blanking panel above the tacho head. Is this correct and how do I remove the panel to gain access? Is there a 12v feed behind there too?

Also, how good is the Daf antenna that is fitted as standard? Is it worth changing it and what would be best to replace it with without spending a small fortune?

Just prize the plate out it clips in and there is a 12volt supply there and an aeriel plug .

Change the DAF antenna for a pre tuned Stinger.

Or get onto ham radio instead.
