some pics as requested

this one was taken after the accident, the whole of the bottom half was resprayed the same blue as the White/Blue one in the first two pics, plus, all the other blue panels were resprayed at the same time, there was about 4 different shades of blue on the truck when i first bought it

What motors are you running now? Cos IIRC you had a few for sale and big blue got stolen, just wondering if you was going from all DAF to others.

V55EEE when new

Now, this is a beauty…

an update on dads truck

Probably wrong to call it a ‘beauty’, but worthy of attention nontheless.
I spotted this Dutch registered ‘pancake wagon’ at the Alex James Harvest Festival, at Chipping-Norton yesterday.
Looks like an ex fire-service vehicle.

I also saw this at alexs james what where you in ? or where you there as a punter.

How would you feel if you came into the yard on Monday morning to the boss with a big smile handing you the keys to this;

I drove this back in 1980 & 81 so it was only 5 yrs old when I first drove it, equivelent to a 56 reg now!!!

Ross.

one of my favorite dafs.
