Here’s a couple of mine for from the week:-

I seem to be constantly running running on damp/wet roads at the moment so keeping it clean is a nightmare.

I washed the chassis off yesterday with the intention of getting some more polish on it today but it’s pishin down so stuck in cab. At least I’ve got free tinternet courtesy of this nice private hospital I’m parked in.

Cheers

neil f…do you actually work for a health company or is it a transport operation ■■,looks like a nice steady number !!

Bit of both really Curnock.

I work for InHealth who are a medical company and one part of that is the supply and operation of various mobile scanners.

My job is to move these trailers overnight to sites and set them up but I’m not involved in the operation of the scanners so it’s really own account transport.

It can be a challenging job in that some of the sites we visit are far from ideal for an articulated truck. Being based in the south a lot of my work is within the M25 and weekly mileage is generally low although we do get all over the country and a couple of drivers get over the water everynow and then. With two exceptions the fleet is all superspace cabbed 95/105s bought because we spend a lot of time on site and facilities are not always great.

Cheers
