After you do a stretch the computer still thinks the truck is a tractor unit ! you would be surprised at the amount of reconfiguration by the computer
If I remember right there is a fuel primer on them, before you start in the morning tilt the cab and bleed the system, if it starts ok then you have got fuel running back overnight and thats either a valve of a pipe rubbed through

But what is it that actually gets altered? I know from when I was driving a rigid hiab scabia,which was stretched that it was a bloody nightmare with abs and the like but am curious to know what they would alter on the engine side.
Oh and hsr 2.6,hope that solves the problem eh.

The electric side of things has been checked and given a clean bill of health
I would go back and get it checked again then.
If the thing turns over a lot faster with a boost pack connected then either the batteries are knackered, not charging or too small or there is a bad connection on one of the battery terminals.

check earth point on gearbox take bolt out and clean earth lead bolt and gearbox point lead touches, also check fuel filter housing round back is blanking plug with alloy washer thats corrodes and causes fuel to syphon back to tank.looking at photo as it had euro 4 lower grill fitted and does it have pe engine fitted to it

Driving that beast over here is very stop start as the roads are so narrrow. But its good to scare all the people that can’t drive properly…
