Anyway, I usually use the toilet facilities in store, either in the canteen or in the store itself :blush:
Or if I’m desperate then the services…

How often do you get refused to use the customers toilet and what do you do and / or say?? I was refused the use of a customers toilet today as the ‘’ client does not like it’’ was the excuse, along with things like we don’t have one, when I know full well the employment law states employees must have use of toilet facilities.

It’s simple, you find out where the manager parks his car, and take a dump right beside the drivers door. Hopefully, he’ll have trod it into his carpet before he notices it…■■■■■■

Just go to any MSA truck park during the summer months, it only takes a few seconds to smell the stench and to conclude that some truck drivers don’t understand the basics of sanitation, and don’t even want to use toilets even when provided :question:

not just MSA’s I parked up in a layby today on the A42 I put my window down because the sun had come out and got hit in the face with an overpowering smell of the yellow stuff… :open_mouth: ruined my corn beef sarnies… :laughing: :laughing:

It aint just customer’s toilets, the bunch that I work for at present, their depots driver’s facilities are disgusting, the showers are slimey, the bogs filthy, no paper or soap, an indication of what they really think of their drivers :smiling_imp: . Me being somebody that doesn’t just sit back and take stuff like this, sent a signed letter to the owner about it, nothing was done :unamused: apart from him advising my depot manager that he wasn’t happy about my complaint :open_mouth: , my reply to him was that I couldn’t give a ■■■■.

Well i told the security man that i will just p against my truck. The goods in guy could not believe i was refused. So i relieved my self in the loading bay as i didnt not know how long the next services was and i was busting. Noted the company incase of any complaint to my company. All i said was… can i use ur toilet please… i was not rude or nasty and the goods in guy said it was ok. But the twit behind the glass said no

If you’re made to wear a hi-viz, then you are being treated the same as everyone else. This includes the right to relieve oneself if need be.

Everyone breathing in nitrogen needs to go to the toilet periodically, so I’d say the laying on of bogs is more important than eating, drinking, and other “rest” facilities.

Even MSA’s don’t charge you for the loos - they just charge to draw out your own cash to spend in the overpriced shops… :grimacing:

Before moving to Canada I ran a depot for a large distribution company in the Warrington area and had many a row with many a driver from a certain Container company (GEEST) who we would not let use are toilets. The reason being that 2 of there drivers left the place in a mess to say the leased, 1 [zb] on the floor and another [zb] everywhere then pushed his underpants down the loo. Now any one can have problems , but you just come and ask for a mope and bucket so you can clean up the mess but to leave it like that and except someone else to clean it up is not on. So I banned all Geest drivers from using the washroom and yes i know its wrong to blame all of them but !!! , we had plenty of foreign reg trucks in and they would have a wash in there then ask for a mope and bucket and clean up after themselves. So sorry sometimes people bring it on themselves and before anyone says anything my dad was a driver UK, Euro and M/E . sorry about the rant

Why not just ban the two drivers in question? My bodily functions dont depend on who I work for and who my colleagues are.

This urbexing looks interesting, visiting buildings like old lunatic asylums that are an echo of times gone by and haven’t seen any human interaction for years, sounds like an average RDC to me.

In a weak attempt to stay on topic there shouldn’t be any problems using abandoned loos whilst having an urbex session, well as long as they haven’t been used by a trucker beforehand :wink:
