Csa safety approved boots

They were pretty hot on it. Had to sit there and watch a 30 mins video for going 200mtrs on site.

Esterhazy ? Went there to fuel some cranes once and had to sit through a 4 hr orientation including roll play , friend went there to film underground for a company TV promo and had zilch . Belle Plaine and Lanigan you can almost drive straight in , frigging jokers

The induction and video I had (use that term very losely) is valid for 3 months. If going there often then would need a full site induction

All we need are drivers CPC’s and Nafta getting their way and opening the door to Mexican drivers and hauliers EU style and we’re sorted then.

Ha, this lot over here are worse than the EEs, just look at their comments about elogs, the thick ■■■■■ all want to stay with paper so they can sit around waiting to get tipped or loaded or for their next job and then run day and night to make up the time.

If they do make safety boots law everywhere they’ll have to be Velcro fasteners or they will have to bring their mum along to tie up the laces…

Dunno, most of the Canadians here who are on elogs seem to be quite happy to sit around all day for no pay and then park all night and keep it legal and earn nothing. I had thought that when some of the crappy companies here went on to them, we’d see big changes and that drivers wouldn’t put up with things being run in the same disorganised way but absolutely nothing has changed except those drivers now earn a lot less and are away a lot longer to do the same thing. Who wants to earn more than $500 a week anyway?! just so long as your elog does complicated things like adds up to 24 so you know when to drive or not, or keeps you safe from your boss who “makes” you run bent on a paper log…good grief.
