I didn’t read the article but I do know that if the amputation is below the knee, then it is still possible to pass a manual LGV test.
If you want advice, speak to Andy Robinson at J. Coates, Leicester. He was born with one of his legs not fully developed and now teaches LGV. He is always amenable to a phone call from someone in a similar situation.
