I reckon it’s a subsidiary of Earthline, John as they bought Multi Aggs. The lorry i saw was cream cab and light brown tipper with the tipper the same spec (heavy duty) that earthline use. Their address is Shellingford Pit so I assume it’s another branch of EL. Unless they’re changing their name (“steady” and “unstressed” are not words associated with them

I have run into Shellingford with crap out of there pit over Kempsford way, can’t remember what they called that one, we called it ■■■■ hole. Don’t really know much about Earthline, only that they were always in a hurry.
03 reg Daf CF 340 seen today at Wickwar. I thought all Cemex wagons had insulated bodies, not this one judging from the type of sheeting system

Richard Reid MAN loading 20-5 stone at Wickwar. I was next inline to load, no work today meant a nice trip from Blewbury all the way down the A417 to Wickwar via Stroud
Smart FM9 parked by Wickwar weighbridge
I used to go to tytherington glos in the early 1960s with my dad…he used to haul granite products from whitwick granite company in leicestershire…it was half way between glouester and bristol if my memory serves me right.
Toshboy pm’d me asking who is opening up a quarry near the A420/A338 roundabout. Done a Google search and found out it is Hills, and it is to replace Tubney Wood Quarry;

Bit of history to that place Nathan by the looks of it.
Cheers Dave.
Yes Dave, like a certain firm who shall remain anonymous who got kicked out of there a few years ago for being naughty…(they have red cabs and blue tippers )

Not familiar with the firms from your way Nathan,so the colours you mention don’t mean much to me.
Cheers Dave.
MJ Churchs’ inert tip at Cassington (old Hanson dig), with a Smiths of Gloucester Scania tipping off. This tip is closing and being flooded end of September to make a marshland for birds.
I’ve never heard of Witney Stone Co, but possibly operated out of Quarry Road off the Crawley Road Witney?
More pics of Witney Stone Co;
I’m wondring if they were tool over by Ameys s I’ve heard when Quarry Road pit closed, Whitehill opened? If so the tipper just about visible could’ve been one of Witneys’, repainted…
