Well he asked the price of training you said you had paid £60 for test but that wan not on UK mainland ok by your username I had worked out you were not in Ireland any more but I would have poss took a guess it was Ireland where you took & past your test so really Dar was not that far out

Crystal ball = wont remember where you are as memory like a sieve & so many people not putting there location on & just expecting us all to know

I have posted on here a few times and revealed my location, I’m not here to argue or bicker, I’m here like many others, to have my say and gain an insight in to the haulage industry in the uk. My username could be Lewis Hamilton on here, but that doesn’t make me a formula 1 racing driver does it? For all you know I could be from the uk, even if I have Irish in my user name, my surname could be Irish? Who knows

This is quite true as my maiden name is Irish

All I was saying is I wont remember where you location is & very good on you for being able to do your in Isle of Man not alway an option for everyone

Not here to argue just saying until then I didnt know your location & poss wont remember it but then you could easy move

24 now did my test when i was 17 and it cost me bowt 4-500 i think for 4days and a test

For my class 2 it cost me £1200. The CPC etc hasn’t been added.

Before you ask i am based in Peterborough. I have also tried to state my location in my user name but for some reason it won’t allow me to

Edit: Got it sorted

How many days/hours was that for?

Just past my class 2 yesterday, and for a 5 day course including test, I was £800, quite reasonable I think.

My class 2 is costing me £1395 but that’s a fully managed course, medical, theory, test fee’s, 16 hours training, full DCPC and digicard cost/application. Everything to get me driving legal.

That was for 5 days. He was unable to book the test for a Friday so booked it in for a Monday so i ended up with a free 6th day

1200 for a 5 day course seems a little on the high side

Try running a quality training centre and you’ll soon find out how wrong you are!!

I was using the figures posted on here recently where it seems that 1000 was the average for 5 days incl test

Pete will agree with me. I would rather pay the little extra for decent training then go with someone who only charges £700+ and get ■■■■ service for that money. In Peterborough, that’s an ok price.

I took my training with South Holland Training and must say, Chris knew his stuff and has been doing it for years. He is a one man band and is working for a good rep and he always has his students interests at heart.
