Where he has gone over the road does change camber quite severely there, so an unsecured load would easily start to go over if he is slightly too fast.
I will put my tin hat on for this but…
Could this be why VOSA are getting arsey about insecure loads ■■?

WiseGeek.com:
Masonite® board is a composite wood product that is similar to hardboard or fiberboard. It is sold in sheets like plywood or particle board, but is constructed quite differently from these products. Masonite®®® board is made using shredded wood chips, which are heated and mixed to form fine wood fibers. These fibers are then pressed together under high levels of heat and pressure to form a solid sheet of material. Most Masonite® boards contain to glue or adhesives, though some may use resin to enhance strength and durability. This product was originally introduced by the Masonite® Company, which used these boards to create home siding and a variety of other products. Because Masonite® was one of the first to manufacture this product, the company name has become eponymous for this product, even though the company no longer produces this material. Today, many companies manufacture similar composite wood sheets, but the name “Masonite” is still widely used.
Builders use Masonite® board to level out a floor or countertop before installing finishes such as tile or laminate. Furniture manufacturers may use Masonite® board as a base for some low-end furnishings, while many moving companies use these boards to protect the floor and other surfaces when moving heavy objects. These boards are also popular with set designers who use Masonite® board to construct and protect theater and motion picture sets. Because of its smooth surface and light weight, many artists use Masonite® board as a cheap alternative to canvas.
These days, they seem to make doors.

Nick.

Came past this location yesterday and you’re right the camber does drop off quite severely, but nopt enough to cause a major problem IF you’re traveling at a reasonable speed.
I did notice some heavy skid marks just before the accident site which look suspicious. They were in a straight line, so maybe it was the bloke behind the one that went over.
It looks to me as if he’s come round the roundabout a bit too fast, maybe from Bury direction to head down that A12, and sailed through the lights a bit quick. The right turn from the centre lane is quite sharp and anyone going a bit fast with a tall load is going to have a squeeky sphincter!
He came out of the services down to the roundabout too fast, hit the brakes and caused the roll over this way. No other vehicle involved.

I hope you stuck around for the old bill. Witness statements are vital if a dangerous driving conviction is on the table
Agree on that one. also this eyewitness who has quite a name in the ipswich area for other reasons (google her) does not say that and she is quite outspoken
The witness was travelling along the A14 and would have only seen the truck as it was about to roll over and she did not see anything prior to this.
