The customer has a set amount of time to load or unload you, if they go over that time they are charged by the hour, thats what demurrage is.

wincantons will charge the people that you are delivering to after a certain time. ie ( demhurage ) for us it’s 3 hrs.
we get 20% of that money.
if we get to a drop, they have 3 hrs to tip after that they are charged extra, then if we reload the box elswhere that company has only one hour to load then we get demhurage. but that does not include traveling time from one place to another.

How often per week/month are you sitting for the three hours tipping before demurrage kicks in :question:
