or if you know someone who can why not ask them to “weld” a hammer head to a steel pipe for ya that way cuts down on the need to carry two items 
Also use the "Cheat"bar to coax the container doors,when the straddle picks up a box it twists the container making the doors ajar.
And if doing reefers have a crowbar type bar to prise open one door at the bottom,reefers are airtight and they tend to vacum shut with the ice as well.
If you happen to get a door handle pole bent grab a forkie and get the driver to push the handle open and do the same for closing.
