Just to let you know, Gist drivers are on £10+ per hour.
Go past the speed limits and risk getting a ticket. Get points on your license and you become a far less attractive proposition to future employers. Have a bump when your tacho shows you were speeding and you risk jail time and lose your job anyway. All for what exactly - you can always tape Emmerdale if you’re frightened of missing some of it.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ it happens relax

Are they really £7.90 in the week, £10.50 weekends.
Sorry guys - you’ll be sitting behind me at 40 from now on. Got caught by a Scamera on the A15 Lincoln, and that’s it now - legal all the time
Doesn’t matter what rate you are on - a ticket wipes it out. I hate holding up traffic unnecessarily, but there ya go; unless you want to pay my fine and take my points I’ll be at (or below) the limit…

That’s unlucky pal, A15 is well known around here for getting trucks.
You know what points make …not prizes,

You know the bit I mean, oncoming traffic is hidden by trees. If he met himself he would have been UN trouble. Plus all said and done he was well over the speed limit. Plus it was dangerous illegal and stupid to gain nothing. Oh and I’ve been driving for 30.years without accident so I must know something. I find it amazing the first reply is excusing it somehow:lol:
Hark at the Driving God.
Bit rich coming from you Left Hand Clown!!!

I was pulling a 60 foot load of rail way track from tata South on there on Wednesday afternoon at 40 had about 15 artics fly past me in all manner of dangerous situations. As soon as I saw them pull out I eased off and tucked in as far as I could to let them past but not one ■■■■■■ gave me a flash to say thanks  charming, don’t see why folk get so irate, if it really was the dangerous why didn’t he ease off and give the driver room to pull in if something bad did happen? Not worth getting mardy about just ease off and be prepared.
It’s about time they changed from speed limits in the uk. If the posted speed is 50 then that’s what you should be able to do in a truck.
Wow.

I know it’s an agency advertising but the rates are the same
Agency’s around here generally pay MORE per hour not less, I know I was when I was on agency. I’ve spoken to enough of Spalding Gist drivers to know that the £7.90 is for working directly with Gist.
Which depot were you at? I know one nr London (Hemmel?)pays more.
