Collecting Units for Servicing

The operator can always use their ‘operator’ card to sign the company off the tacho. Any question about miles missing, speeds, hours etc then becomes the concern of the dealer. The vehicle inspection/service record will show who was responsible for the truck in the time it was signed off by the firm.

Most mechanics I work with don’t use card or company card gave dcpc or put it out of scope mainly because of high volume of business and they can’t be bothered.
