Why is that Dennis, I watch match of the day but no affiliation to any of them as it all down to money these days I was pleased that the much better team won last night and most of their team came through the youth academy which I think is great for football. I even like to see the other team in Sheffield ( who webby supports ) win when they are not playing us.
cheers Johnnie

Not been for donkey’s years Johnnie and too far away now to watch the donkeys play.Best place on Bramall Lane was t’Sheaf Tavern.
Well I supported Northampton until 2005 we used to go to a lot of the away games, was a season ticket holder, but it was never the same when they moved grounds, they seemed to play at home not to lose, where at the old ground we always went out to win and it was exciting even if we drew or lost, I endured it at the new stadium for many years, but in the end it was more exciting watching paint dry and my mate ■■■■ Smith died two years later, he was a trucker on Carlsberg with me, we always played crib before and after the match, but our opponents who travelled with us, packed up two years before us, saying we can stand it no more, we are going to watch Leicester.
Harry you was at the show last year, what if you phoned the cafe, they would know if they are having it there again, old Alex from Scotland was connected to it?

hiya,
Nothing from the Lincoln Farm regarding a Red and Rust show this year and as for you “if not on holiday” your retired for goodness sake Norm, life’s one big holiday but i don’t even get a day off i’m either “brat watching” or making sure there’s a meal on the table for my old lady while she’s out earning “my wages” i don’t keep all her hard earned wages though i do allow her to keep a shilling in the pound, well she has to have the money to buy some of life’s little luxuries doesn’t she,■■ you see Norm I am all heart, did try to get her some part-time work but there are very few opening’s for coal roundsmen/women bloody gas central heating has done away with a lot of jobs.
thanks harry long retired.
Harry I have always been a man of impulse, if I see something I want, I get it!
So a holiday might be the right price at the right time in the right place.
As for you being kind to the wife, you might think about getting her a light cleaning job, and if it was at Ladbroke’s, you may not clean up, but she would be on a cert to!
Because I am getting as old as Harry, and my memory seems to flutuate a lot, but still not at the stage of dodery old geezer, it came to me how we would park down by the river in Dumfries and had some cracking nights out.

Your right Norman, The Sands was the pub on the riverside in Dumfries, also the Hole in the Wall.
When I worked for Waugh’s we were regulars there as we did the storage and distribution for
Carnation Milk in the NorthEast. I remember one night plod woke us all up to move the vehicles as
the river had burst its banks and we were in danger of being washed away. good job we had only
been to coffee bar that evening.
. Ps do you remember plod standing
at the bar 10 mins before closing when it was still 10 o clock shutdown?? regardskevmac47.

Yes I do Kev, and if you was well in you had a couple of pubs who would lock the doors, and they had off duty mr plds inside.

Harry we will have a collection among the lads, Dennis will be good for a £100, if we are lucky Chris must have a few quid stacked away in the IOM, it is a tax haven, sky the limit,
he could push the size up to 50"
. as for the two Dave’s and Johnnie
could be the jackpot!
Keith could deliver it, anything short I will put in up to £ 2.50p.
