A big thx to all who posted on this thread really enjoyed the pictures. Would love to see more especially one of mine. I am a little disapointed that Andrew M. Did not mention me in his little rant regarding the demise of Bankfield. He really was particularly bitter (jealous sorry could not resist it) towards the ducks. Still nice to see his wagon on the bridge.

Have you any other gems from the Peak District yet to post Barry?
The ones you’ve posted so far are marvellous.
I worked at Bankfield and Horrocksford approx 1995 - 2007. Horrocksford closed about 98 - 99 was run by a great bloke, think he was called Barney. I had Scania 6x4 L508 FFV then a daf T52 RBV then moved into the premiere league with a 8x4 ERF T889 JFV. I moved on from Bankfield in 2007 with and bought T52 RBV back.

Pic of T889.
Thx Bonkey I sold that wagon to Jim Fort who owned it at the time of the pic. I owned it for about twelve months and to be perfectly honest never did completly master the twin splitter gearbox. I am sure it is still working out of Arcow. I got the plate wrong it was JVR not one of my favourite wagons. I also had a Daf 8x4 CW03 CDE and a Volvo 8x4 PN57 OLW in Tarmac livery.
Eh up Barry remember that ERF Forty had, he opened it up to 400BHP when he had it Remember when somebody who could drive a ERF with a twin splitter gearbox, and make it sing!!! Came blasting past you on the way to a job on the M57?
I wonder who that was
Reg number T42 JVU Have you got any pictures of this ERF Gloves??

Found this in my collection, dated April 2004. No sun visor and no Pendle witches
Sorry, but could not find your other Scania, DAFs or Volvo in my photos. Possibly in some of Colin Wright’s photo collection, wherever they finished up■■?
Do not think Bonkey has copies of all of them, if your reading this Kelvin■■?
Have a photo of T43 JVU, but cannot see if any owner driver’s name on door? BUT NOT T42, if that is of any use.
Often unable to get around and photo all the tippers in the North as so little time, poor weather or simply doing something else.

Has this truck had a Scania engine dropped in? Seem to remember an article in a mag with another spanish Dodge with a 9ltr scania engine in, they called it a Scodge! the mag may have been Scania’s own
Only ones I can come up with are the Jim Fort ERF and the Volvo
Absolutely fantastic love the pics thank you. My ERF was uprated to 405bhp when the ecu gave up. Chris from Smiths fitted the only one he had which was a spare for a castle cement wagon. I hadn’t noticed the sun visor Jim must of fitted that. T43 was bought new by John knowles (now he was grumpy) think he sold it to Tom Cornall.

Was that the same Mr Knowles that used to run a Mercedes 8 wheeler and parked up near the Police Station in Clitheroe■■?

Indeed it is Gloves, Sadly John was a very black or white person always moaning about the Ducks,But went to the DARK SIDE
with the ERF and a couple of Scanias before packing it in several years ago
When I get time I will post some pictures of the old haulage yards in Clitheroe where the likes of J Knolwes , Hickys, Foxs parked there trucks. Any photos of Foden F447 EAO, Volvo K48XBA, Scania FJ57HDA and Scania FJ54AEL I have driven all these trucks over the years.
One down, three to go.
