Just about close enough; if it’s decent work!

'Afraid supply would probably exceed demand… so not much chance of getting a decent price for it!?

Respect to you for your persistence!

Try some of the Irish firms that work out of troon.

There is nothing in Kilmarnock or Ayr full stop never mind just truck driving

Only other thing you could do to justify travelling a distance to work is tramping but you sound like the hunger for the trucking game and all its associated hassle has vanished.

You are probably correct and have hit the nail on the head. Too much hassle for too little reward just about sums it up. Pity, because I used to quite enjoy it. Thank you DSA, VOSA, DfT, Immigration ministers (Tory AND Labour), Oil companies, Chancellors, H&S clowns, and a host of others …

Now that’s a possibility! One of the guys who takes to do with Malcolms recruitment is married to an ex work colleague of mine. Could be time to e-mail my CV to him (again) .

Troons finished P & O are only shipping into Cairnryan now with the new Stena boats there is not enough traffic for the Troon service

It’s a lot of crap about Malcolm’s looking for guys, they said on their Facebook page that they were recruiting over 300 drivers… sounded like BS. I know Ker Malcolm personally, he’s a good friend so I took it up with him and he said no chance and it’s a fake page.

They use agency like everyone else so find out which agency is main agents !!!
