See all the comments about long hours. They are part of the job get over it or get a new job

People like you are the very reason why the job is f***ed. Work 80 hours a week for £8 per hour? That will be right. Work to live, not the other way round!

My job not f***ed thanks $ 0.44cpm 600-700 miles a day. I get paid for what I do even when I was in the uk I was on a day rate bout 120a day from what I remember.

Long hours have always been part of the job before I got my class 1. If you don’t like working long hours go and stack shelfs in Tescos or something

Just noticed where you are. So the driving game in the UK is so good that you jumped on a plane and went to Canada to work. Can’t say I blame you. If I was younger I would do the same, but as it is I am semi retired having done 35 years work (not driving related).
Fortunately I can treat this driving game as pocket money; I certainly wouldn’t want to be relying on it to pay the bills. I genuinely feel sorry for the guys who have fallen into the 80 hours per week trap. It ■■■■■, as they say in Canada.

Part of the reason the job in uk is up the creek is 24/7 delivery and pick up and the drivers that are willing to sit in a RDC at 1am for 6 hrs but don’t forget while you’re sat there doing sweet fa you are still getting paid to do it.

I work 12-14 hrs most days but the rewards for it over here are better.
