I saw a bulker driver in the layby between Lechlade and Highworth last week, he had opened his tailgate a bit and was busy bagging wheat in 3 x 25 kilo sacks, then left the sweepings in the lay by. Is no wonder drivers get bothered by ■■■■■■ to flog diesel.

Years ago I had to pick up a company car that wasn’t taxed or tested in the back of my trailer.
it was simply going to auction.
As i was having trouble with my own cars battery, I thought “I’ll swap them” .
So, duly pulling in a quiet lay-by I proceeded to climb in the trailer and go about my business.
“having problems” said the plod who managed to arrive from nowhere.
“no”, I replied " just making sure it will start when I get to take it off"
OK he said and departed.
Moral of this story
There is always someone watching when you’re doing a naughty!

Exactly. Lost count of the people I’ve known who have been caught out.
