Yep Iam (or Willie) McFaul managed Newcastle for a short while, and I think he played in the winning Fairs Cup side in the 60s.
Also played in the 74 cup final
I remember in the program always being I’m McFaul met him several times always pleasant & polite nothing to much trouble always had time for you

John Lodge, Moody Blues legend and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has passed away at the age of 82. In a statement from his family, they shared: “It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that John Lodge, our darling husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and brother has been suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us… He was never happier than being on stage — he was ‘Just a Singer in a Rock and Roll Band’ and he adored performing with his band and son-in-law, Jon (vocalist with YES), and being able to continue sharing this music with his fans.” He was such a great character and fantastic songwriter. My condolences to his family, friends and fans around the world. Rest in peace, John Lodge, your contribution to music lives forever. Paul

Yep the guy who did him should be commended.
He should do a ‘tour’ of other nicks, there’s a few more we all know of who could benefit by his ‘talent’.
