Only had 4 minors as well and failed half a mile from the test centre proper gutted
Could be worse. I psyched myself up for my first class 1 test (positive thinking, healthy breakfast etc) then failed it 30 seconds out the test centre
Passes second time with only 4 minors though so is all good experience
Just rang my test centre to book the retest and they are saying 600 quid to do it again that’s a 3hour lesson before hire of the truck and the test fee sounds a bit expensive for one day when I payed 1200 for a 20 hour course■■?
That does sound expensive.
My training school only charged me £60 for an additional 2 hours training the day before my retest, then £200 on test day for the hire of the truck and the test fee.
If I was you, Jim, I’d take my money elsewhere.

It is when it was a 20 hour course and I only drove maybe 10 hours tops !!!
God what to do now?? Who did you do yours with endgame
Did mine with Chevron in North Wales.
I did a full bout of training with another training school in Liverpool before I went to Chevron though, paid for a 16 hour course, and maybe spent about same as you, 10 hours actually driving. Constantly stopping for tea, bookies, etc. Even spent about 2 hours sat about at the test centre watching OTHER people take their test. I ended up failing, then went with Chevron.
Just to add, Chevron are in the top 5 places in the UK with the highest pass rates for 2014. 76% (or something around that mark) and you take your test where you practice. You do your reverse at the same place you practice your reverse. They’re based in Flint.
Ya I had the same sort of things going to get the tyre changed two cpcs and to top it off sat in the test centre for 2 and a half hours before my test that did my nut in
