Castellon Days!

No ,I was based in Swiss. I found it easier to do fridge work out of Swiss & go down South than to do the Swiss/UK thing that had been carved right up by the UK & German lads. I was on salary so the less you did the better off you were. Whereas the UK lads working for Swiss firms doing UK were also on the same salary BUT they worked it like they were on trip money. Happy Days…

to get back to original question , goerge is still there doing all the collections for a lot of people now , bradships, and a lot of irish firms , he has a warehouse in onda, big dave is still working for bradships , he will be with them till he drops , mick from stoke is workinf for bradships as is russel, russel i could write a book about but wont say on an open forum what happened to his wallet and credit cards when he fell asleep in one of the rooms upstairs :astonished: :astonished: , kevin is still working for jegs , slippers we called him due to him wearing them for driving  , upstairs is slowly slipping into oblivion hardly anyone there now , i much prefer simba or jurrasic over the road , the food is much better and the showers are best at simba , any more info neede and give me a pm and ill tell you privately about some people down there

Cheers porkifer! have sent you a pm :sunglasses:

Hotel Simba was there a few times last year good clean showers etc nice cheap rooms lovely and cool in summer 25 euro a night…but the staff behind the bar must be the most ignorant inbecile’s in the whole of spain

that brings back memories of the old red 142 tearing through 10 or 15 collections, i was doing that job in 97 to 2000. had some great times there sad to hear its going down hill. one year (99 i think) the floods were that bad he lost a good part of his park to the river and i threatened to wash the main road away.
head office was another name for the place

The one time I did tile collections round Castellon I weekended at Simba.

That sounds like a pretty fair assessment Malcolmj.

Most of my tile collections where in the Maranello(sp) region.
