C+E Training Diary

Congratulations

Thanks folks. Much appreciated. The hard work of joining the queues for available jobs. Will report any advances and look forward to reading your training diaries and hearing about your successes!!

Cheers,

Lazlo

 Good morning and good luck with the job hunt. From the sound of your eloquent and humerous diary I don’t think you will have too much trouble. Thanks for your good wishes to me too. I’m starting again later this week and bricking it. I really can’t mess up again for many reasons although it’s still not the end of the world I suppose. Well done Lazlo. Best wishes, Fairsky

Thanks Fairsky. You’ll do fine pal. Get right back in the saddle and give it another go. :exclamation: :exclamation:

Try to convert the nervous energy you feel into concentration when you get behind the wheel. I’m far from an expert but keeping things nice and slow and smooth gave my brain time to process all the mirror checks, approaches and lines around junctions etc. My instructor was mainly pretty low key, simply giving road directions, re-enforcing things I was doing right and correcting me when I went wrong. Don’t be afraid to ask questions either. Again for me, writing stuff up in the diary helped me to process the lessons learned a little more fully and seemed to give the new knowledge a better toehold in my mind so it could be recalled later when I need it! :grimacing:

Cheers,

Laz

 Thanks Lazlo. I think the above should be printed out and given to all first time failures. Really useful. Cheers Fairsky
