Hi CCCP another cracker, a bit after my time pulling out of Shotton, not sure who is in the drivers seat? Drivers I knew were Squeeker, Jimmy Grog, Davey, Malcolm, and Emma aka " the Blackman" …due to the fact he was the resident fitter… :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :blush: :unamused: :neutral_face: :smiley:
They were based in Sandycroft near the Mechanic s Arms after the yard in ConnahsQuay was sold to Asda

Lovely picture , alot of the Shotton lads preferred the mid wales roads rather then the A49 , they said it was quicker , thank you Trevor .

Hi CC,looks like that photo was taken at the newport depot,CTs roadtrain which was used on locals looks like it is being used to shunt one of the old mans tippers around the yard,he used to have his maintanance and servicing done at cardiff transport.

Hi Bernard, we had some good times in that yard loading and tranship ping :smiley: we got an ex tyre fitter Andrew Harris he used to do all the tyres for ct he knows all the boys
