For the purposes of trade and trade barriers and tariffs and customs the EU ‘Collective’ is by definition a ‘country’ with an EU border.
The clue is in the difference between the words ‘EU import tariffs’ v ‘Czech market overview’.
Ironically Socialists like the word Collective which is why Chinese Commies have better market access and trading relationship with Euroland than USA.
Hopefully Trump will now tariff if not close, the US border to EU imports, as the EU ‘Collective’ does to the US.
Another pointless response (no change there). A country is a country. It’s status doesn’t change to suit the purposes of a trade agreement. So, I ask you again, are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland country’s?

technicaly no. to be a country you need clearly defined borders and their own government. while they have governments of their own they dont have control over everything. Same way texas or florida are states. they have the power to make their own local laws but the president/congress etc make the countries laws. which is why america is a country.
By the same token germany france have their own governments and borders to some extent some harder than others. however they are controled by the eu hence they are called member states not member countries.
They are a collective which share a border and government for both legislative and trade purposes just like the EU.
You don’t export from US to France etc you export from US to EU subject to EU import tariffs and requirements.
Just like export to Scotland means export to UK since we left the EU.
Those import barriers being far more onerous on US exporters to EU or UK than US import barriers to EU or UK exporters to US.
As you’d know if you ever tried to import a US made car or truck or parts here.

well we will see what happends when the local elections comes round in a few months… wonder how well labour will do then. Its plain as a pike staff that they are trying to run the whole country (both gov and local councils) but hopefully it wont work out for them.
