Hope you enjoyed last Sunday. Got a soft spot for Newcastle as a friend of mine played for them 35 years ago. His brother and I used to travel down for all (or most anyway) home games - it helped that we were given free tickets and access to the players lounge after the game.

Mark and Mick (I always knew him as Mick not Micky) were a bit of a tag team, they both fed off each other although Mick was more of a natural goal scorer. Mark made a lot of goals, Mick didn’t but by God he knew how to score them. Had a lot of time for him, he was a good laugh after the games.
