Busy Mr Trump

Are you trying to suggest that the present day CCP benefit exercise is even half the US economy of the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s.Large economy based on Chinese imports paid for with borrowed cash and a closed down industrial wasteland.

You’re right Trump ain’t the real deal in that regard. But can’t possibly be worse than China Joe and his band of Commies.

So? No specifics?

No , just like for like obtuseness and prevarication.

Meanwhile back in Washington DC.
The demolition of the Whitehouse wing is carrying on. But the architect has been fired/resigned.
He apparently told Trump that the outline plans for the ballroom were not practicable. So another architect has been hired.
As soon as Trump finds a professional that agrees with his own plans, then tings will proceed I guess. No surprise to see this project going as smoothly as one could expect.
Knock down summat before you even have plans for a replacement? https://youtu.be/BNsD8yq0w4g?si=hs05LAlu2clD8Suj

So what.?
If it was something worth even bothering my arse about :joy: I’d be saying..
'‘It’s Trumps prerogative to get somebody to do the job who he favours and/‘or agrees with him’’.
…but it aint, so I won’t.:joy:

Almost as trivial and not worth giving the time of day to as the accusations about Nige when he was 12 ffs.:joy:

If it was Trump’s own property there might be merit in that point of view.
It is not Trump’s property.

I i there is a ned for a ballroom? Then why not get some proper plans made up, and passed through the planning laws first?
A rough outline of the extension of my house, bigger than the main house, wouldn’t get past first base with the local authorities.

Yeah triffic…It may well be as you say.
But just to reiterate.(assuming you aint American) why tf do you even CARE?

Trump is arguably damaging an historical building, in his own country, I’m sure a few Yanks are bothered, where as Starmer is definitely damaging my/our country…I don’t know about you, but 'I’ll reserve my concern for the latter.

I find it possible to intensely dislike serial murderers and still have enough dislike left over to dislike and comment on ■■■■■■■■■ kicking kittens.

I can walk and chew gum, so why can’t I comment on both UK and US politics?

You also evidently find it possible to intensly dislike many political figures who disagree with your own political narrative…including those with no direct bearing.
Where as me I hate possiblly ONE, only because of that direct bearing.

Do what ya like mate…but try and be a little more impartial and less double standard , it makes criticism more credible and logical.

Technically he does not require permission to do the alterations.
The decades-old exemption that lets Trump reconstruct the White House - BBC News

Fair comment. Trump does not need to get planning permission as such. But previous POTUS have, and the article you link says that it is “best practise”…
…so no surprise he didn’t.

Him knocking down something, without asking anyone, and having no clear plans about a replacement, is legal.

The boys will be calling another meeting

He’s saving his last few sticking plasters for Russia Ukraine

So Europe is ‘‘decaying’’ due to weak and ‘politically correct’ leaders.
Look like Trump is spot on yet again.

Sorry all I can think of is Starmer dressed in his Army uniform.:joy::joy:

It is an army uniform but he’s serving the Red Star not us.

I can see why the lefties despise this guy :joy:…(all the more reason for liking him :joy:)
The old ‘litmus test’ based on that, tells you he’s right…ooooh they hate that.:joy:

Keep telling the truth Donald how it IS.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

So it’s gone from MAGA To MAAA, looks and reads like some of the balls he is juggling are becoming out of sink
